My professional Experience
(2012-Present)

2012-2013

A Glimpse Into my life after high school

From a young age, I had a deep desire to help others and serve my country. While my family encouraged me to try college first, hoping I’d change my mind about enlisting, my passion for service never wavered. During that time, I joined the Brentwood Fire Department, Engine 4, one of the busiest firehouses on Long Island, where I responded to medical emergencies, residential and commercial fires, and vehicle accidents. Balancing this with full-time work as a Plumber’s Assistant taught me valuable problem-solving and technical skills that still benefit me today.

While volunteering and working, I pursued an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and joined the Criminal Justice Club at Suffolk County Community College and served as its Treasurer. I was also an active member of the Long Island Rugby Club, playing as a Winger, where my speed and teamwork were key assets. These early experiences in leadership, emergency response, and discipline shaped the foundation for my future in military and security leadership.

2013-2019

My Time on active duty

I enlisted in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps in November 2013, beginning my career at Fort Drum, NY, with the 563rd MP Company, 1st Platoon. Much of my time there was spent in intensive field training, which, at first, felt grueling but quickly became one of the most rewarding experiences of my military career. These exercises—ranging from ambush and counter-ambush tactics to key leader engagements, reconnaissance, and high-value target capture—instilled invaluable skills that shaped my leadership and decision-making abilities.

At my two-year mark, I was selected over my peers for a leadership role as a Specialist Team Leader. I competed in and won three company boards, earning me the opportunity to attend Air Assault School—a goal I had set for myself early in my career. By my third board, I had secured my promotion to Sergeant (E-5) in under three years, a milestone that reinforced my commitment to leadership and mentorship. I valued this rank deeply, as it allowed me to train, lead, and develop soldiers while still working alongside them in demanding field environments.

From 2017 to 2019, I was stationed in Ansbach, Germany, where I completed the Army Military Police Investigator Course while en route. Transitioning from primarily a combat focused field environment at Fort Drum to more of a law enforcement role as an Investigator, I quickly adapted to my new responsibilities, gaining experience in criminal investigations, crime scene management, and evidence handling. After a year, the Army transitioned personnel into Desk Sergeant roles, and I took on the challenge of serving in both positions simultaneously. As the most senior law enforcement officer on duty, I supervised patrols, coordinated emergency response efforts, and provided guidance on complex incidents.

Balancing these responsibilities taught me critical administrative, leadership, and problem-solving skills, further shaping me into a well-rounded professional. During this time, I also took advantage of my schedule to return to college, completing my Associate’s Degree in General Studies and earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice while still serving.

2019-Present

Army Reserves (2019-2024), & Private Security (2019-Present)

Transition from Active Duty to the Army Reserves
After completing six years of Active Duty service, I continued my military career in the Army Reserves, where I expanded my experience in both tactical operations and law enforcement. During this time, I earned leadership positions as a Squad Leader, was promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-6), and eventually became an Operations Sergeant. The Reserves provided an excellent transition from the fast-paced, high-intensity environment of Active Duty to civilian life. In May 2024, I honorably completed my Reserve contract, and while I’ve fully transitioned into the private sector, there are moments I miss wearing the uniform.

Launching My Career in Private Security:
Even before officially separating from the military, I wasted no time. While still on terminal leave, I began working with Gavin de Becker and Associates (GDBA) in October 2019, leveraging my military experience to step into the world of Executive Protection (EP). After graduating from the GDBA Academy, I was assigned to a dynamic Executive Protection team in NYC, where I quickly gained hands-on experience in corporate security, residential security, secure transportation, travel assignments, and private events. Over my first two years, I supported 15-20 different details across the U.S., developing a well-rounded skill set in the private security sector.

Leadership & Site Development at Crisis24:
Around my two-year mark, GDBA transitioned part of its operations to Crisis24, and I was promoted to Team Leader at my original EP site. I remained in this role for several months before an exciting new opportunity arose—leading the development of a residential security program for a new client, where I would be promoted to Senior Team Leader.

In this position, I:
– Built a security team from the ground up, training dozens of agents.
– Developed hundreds of pages of SOPs, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
– Conducted regular site reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QRBs) to maintain operational excellence.

After successfully managing this site for a year and a half, I returned to field operations and travel assignments to sharpen my skills and stay current on industry best practices. I’ve since supported clients nationwide, including Texas, California, Florida, and D.C., while also assisting in the development of new security sites, SOP creation, and training programs for security personnel.

Continuing My Professional Growth:
I am passionate about security operations, leadership, and professional development, always striving to enhance best practices in the industry. I take pride in mentoring others, refining security protocols, and ensuring operational efficiency across every detail I support. Looking ahead, I remain committed to continuous learning and professional growth, eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the evolution of security management.
